Familiarity breeds contempt—and children. —Mark Twain |
|
In honour of Mothers I take
my children everywhere, but they always find their way back home. Children today are
tyrants. They contradict their parents, gobble their food, and tyrannize
their teachers. It is always preferable
to visit home with a friend. Your parents will not be pleased with this
plan, because they want you all to themselves and because in the presence
of your friend, they will have to act like mature human beings... Youth is a wonderful
thing. What a crime to waste it on children. Never raise your hands
to your kids. It leaves your groin unprotected. If your parents never
had children, chances are you won't, either. |
|
|
Human beings are the only
creatures that allow their children to come back home. |
