To those feminist who prefer that the Bible be changed to gender neutral: Why is Satan 'still' always a man?

A young boy about five or six years was talking on the telephone. As his dad listened on, the youngster told his grandparents dejectedly, "Mom is in the hospital.. so the Twins, and Roxie, and Billy, and Sally, and the dog, and me, and Dad are home all alone."

People who love sausage and respect the law should never watch either of them being made.

Passing the Intelligence Test

Last week, Prime minister Jean Chretien called U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and he asked him, "Why did your party pick George W. Bush as your Presidential candidate?" Dick replied, "He passed the intelligence test."
Chretien asked, "What was that test?"
Cheney answered, "We asked him.. 'If your mother has a baby and it's not your brother and not your sister, who is it'?" And Dubya answered, "It's me!" So the Party hired him.
"Great test," says Jean, "I'll try it on my finance minister." So he asks Paul Martin the same question. Paul says, "Well, can I give you an answer in a day or two?"
"No problem," answers Jean.
Paul is completely in the dark so he asks James Scott Peterson, Secretary of State (International Financial Institutions) the same question. James answers, "It's me, of course!"
Excitedly, Paul goes back to Jean and tells him, "I've got the answer to your question, 'if my mother has a baby who is neither my brother or my sister'--it's James Scott Peterson!" Shaking his head, Jean says, "You idiot! It's not him, it's George W. Bush!"

Hee hee... sorry about that... the Devilperson made me do it. ;-)

eMode.com: The #1 Destination for Self-Discovery. "Lots of personality and intelligence tests here folks. And they are quite extensive. I took the IQ test, took quite a while as it was very comprehensive for an internet presentation. They said, I am a Visual Mathematician, and discovered that 60% of Visual Mathematicians wait for the other person to make the first move on a date. And after all these years I thought I was just shy- go figure. Anyway, I guarantee you will enjoy this one folks."

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is America's national institution for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history, and serves as this country's memorial to the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust. "Remembrance Day. This is a memorial website, and a really good one. Now and then it is a good idea to revisit sites of this type in order to remove any possible self doubts that evil still exists, and if left unchecked, to what extent it can de-civilize a world. IMHO, protecting civilization is the duty of every freedom and peace loving citizen. Leaving it up to someone else is cowardly."
Beginning of Veterans Day: Dear Mr. Higley: I have today sighed a proclamation calling upon all of our citizens to observe Thursday, November 11, 1954 as Veterans Day. St Andrew's Day may be fundamentally a religious day devoted to remembering the first Apostle but it has now also become a day dedicated to celebrating Scottish traditions and culture. The link between Scotland and St Andrew is also evident in the legend which offers an explanation of the adoption of the cross of St Andrew as the basis for the Scottish national flag. When St Andrew was martyred he is said to have been crucified on an X-shaped cross as he believed himself unworthy of dying in the same way as Christ. Sickened by what he had seen during the Boer War, John McCrae nevertheless signed up in August 1914, and headed for France with his horse, Bonfire, in tow. He would have found few opportunities for riding in that hell on earth. Knee deep in mud and freezing water, men's feet rotted where they stood, waiting for the next attack of gas to insinuate its way down the trenches, or the signal to go "over the top", often into direct machine gun fire. McCrae wrote "In Flanders Fields" the day after presiding at the funeral of a friend and former student. "FreedomSite.Org is a wonderful site with great insight. Remembrance Day and Veterans Day are both conducted on Nov. 11th."

Snopes.com: The Nigerian Scam has been emptying the pockets of victims for decades -- first through letters, then with faxes, and now via e-mail. In its earliest incarnation -- which dates to the 1920s -- it was known as 'The Spanish Prisoner' con. In that long-ago version, businessmen were contacted by someone trying to smuggle the scion of a wealthy family out of a prison in Spain. The Right Varieties Make The Best Apple Pie; The popularity of apple pie--America's favorite--is on the rise, and Michigan's apple growers, with their wide assortment of pie-friendly apple varieties, have added to the excitement. Over two-thirds of Michigan's annual average apple crop of 24 million bushels is processed, much of it (approximately eight million bushels) into the apple pies that consumers enjoy at restaurants or purchase from grocery store delis and frozen food cases. "Wanna know about apple pie? Michigan is more then proud to help."

"Bill and Melinda Gates' $97 million house. The big boss of Microsoft does have a nice little pad down on the shores of Lake Washington. Much of the house is built underground into the hill, so the house looks smaller than it actually is. Unfortunately the hidden section underground did not escape the taxman's view; Bill paid over a million dollars last year on property taxes. You are your own tour guide inside the Gates estate presented by USNEWS.COM. Simply click on the active areas of the image to navigate. For 'those' considering renovating their homes soon, you might want to visit the Gate's home to get a few ideas. Home data: Square footage, all structures: More than 66,000 (equal to 1.5 acres)

From the JewishWorldReview.Com: A Jew defends evangelical Christians: 'According to every liberal I know -- Christian, Jew, or other -- Jews are supposed to find this theology offensive and frightening. According to liberals, the evangelicals' doctrine that no non-Christians can be saved is so awful that all other evangelical views must be held suspect -- even their unique support for Jews and Israel.' and adds, 'I would therefore like to announce, as a practicing, believing Jew, that I am in no way offended, let alone frightened, by evangelical Christians who believe that it is necessary to have faith in Jesus in order to be saved.' "What a terrific article by Dennis Prager. Hopefully more of this sort of thing will creep into the mainstream media in the future. What is going on in the world, and in the USA/Canada in particular, when dealing with faith--- understanding and respect for each other is a must for a bright future. To do so, old 'political' notions and ideology  must be questioned without prejudice."
