This
is a future site, still under construction, the
use of a photo in the banner bar is becoming
quite popular. Hope I can get around to
finishing it soon as it belongs to the hosting
part of my business. Anyway, it offers an idea
for a website theme that you might think of
using. |

This
is my hobby site, the 'Duke of URL'. Although it
has taken a back seat for a while. It was a site
I created to entertain a 50+ seniors group
-reviewing and presenting 20 to 30 websites a
month. I created this site using a Flash program
called Live Motion by Adobe, who have since
purchased the original Flash programming
software from
Macromedia. Flash sites, such as this one which
is totally encapsulated into a Flash file,
are not very common due to time it takes to
create it and make changes, however, the use of small Flash
presentations in web pages are becoming quite
common. An all Flash site is awesome! |

Another all Flash site, but for your eyes only,
because the 'Girlfriends' have parted ways and
no longer provide their gym concept. The good
news is that Debbie's Beauty Shop is still doing
a hair-raising business.
So why do I keep this one around? Because it is
a gem, and since there are few all Flash sites
available, this one is kept for moments just
like this. Shhhhh, there is a secret link here,
look for it on one of the four girls hats. |

This
link leads to a Flash presentation of several
picture tours through-out the Village of Burk's
Falls website. It demonstrates a great way to
feature important, or novel items, within your website.
The file size can be big or small, as in these
particular cases, and because Flash can stream
there is only a short downloading wait. Or a
small Flash ad can be delicately placed in just
the right location animating a
special message. It works, it really works!
You may have already noticed, on the opening
page of this Kirk-White site, an example of
today's preferred use of the Flash feature
showing all of these graphics,
but within a smaller area. |
